Analytics
These help us see which pages are read the most and where visitors run into trouble. They are set only after you consent. The data is used in aggregate; we do not use it to identify an individual.
Advertising
These are set by Google in order to display adverts, measure how they perform and prevent fraud. With your consent, they are also used to personalise adverts on the basis of your earlier visits.
Without consent, adverts may still be displayed, but without personalisation — they are then chosen according to the content of the page rather than your behaviour.

How you give and withdraw consent
On your first visit we show a notice in which you choose the categories you accept. We remember that choice for 12 months.
You can change your consent at any time:
- by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page;
- by deleting cookies in your browser, which makes the notice appear again.
For visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we use a consent framework that meets Google’s requirements. Until consent is given, every storage category stays in the “denied” state (Google Consent Mode v2).
Managing cookies in your browser
You can block or delete all cookies through your browser settings. Bear in mind that blocking strictly necessary cookies may disrupt the site — the cookie notice, for example, will appear on every visit.
